what if you took the late model 3S-GE top end (with VVT-i) and put in on the 3S-GTE?
would you have toyota reliability on a turbo motor with VVT-i? or am i just an idiot and there is an obvious reason it won't work. -------------------- my signature is the coolest.

VTEC and VVTL-i are not designed for race. They are designed to make "STREETABLE" horsepower. Of course, it would only make sense that their non-street race engines don't need to be cluttered with VTEC or VVTL-i. Agressive cam profiles can make a lot of power with good tuning on a Turbo car. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... I'm an artist!"
