Like I said, Will an Auto ECU work with a manual tranny?? Im asking because If I decide to swap, or sell it, Its an Auto tranny an most likly will be swaping towards an manual tranny.. SO Will I need a Manual Ecu?? Im kinda lost, an im asking is because I seemed to have found a good deal on one..

Oh and my buddie said he wasnt sure, but said that for mazdas ( the cars he works on) the only dif he knows of is the auto one has a brain for the auto tranny an thats it.. but i have no clue.

that's a bad thing.

i believe the write up on toyotacelicaonline.com mentions a way you can do it without triggering a light.

good thread, i've always wondered if this would work or not.
