Hey I was just wondering, would it be a good idea to cut or melt my stock GT springs to lower my car? I hear some say its very unreliable and don't do it, but these are people that don't know much about cars so I just have to ask you guys to make sure.

ok I was just wondering because some is selling cut stock springs and I just wanted to know if they are a good investment, guess not.

would anyone suggest aerospeed coils? there in my budget range I think about $170. If anyone knows any other brand for around that price please give me some feedback.
