Hey I was just wondering, would it be a good idea to cut or melt my stock GT springs to lower my car? I hear some say its very unreliable and don't do it, but these are people that don't know much about cars so I just have to ask you guys to make sure.

i cut my stock fronts on my Celica a long time ago.
DON"T DO IT!!

after about a month my strut bolts started comming thru my hood.
i had 2 nice lil bumps right over the struts.
