Hey I was just wondering, would it be a good idea to cut or melt my stock GT springs to lower my car? I hear some say its very unreliable and don't do it, but these are people that don't know much about cars so I just have to ask you guys to make sure.

i cut my springs also. yeh the ride hieght was awsome but whenever you turn the tires left or right i would hear a loud clunk like somthing broke and it was very loud. i ended up having them for about 2-3 months and i ended up breakin one of the whole srpings on my front passenger side when i was pulling up to my drivway.went to change them i bought eibach sportlines and i had to get 2 new rear struts becouse they were shot so i recommend you dont do it.
