Hey I was just wondering, would it be a good idea to cut or melt my stock GT springs to lower my car? I hear some say its very unreliable and don't do it, but these are people that don't know much about cars so I just have to ask you guys to make sure.

I have not familarized my self with celica suspension yet but if the stock springs have a "dead" coil you could probably get away with cutting that off. If you wanna get it slammed it should help do the trick and not cost a dime. I do recommend however buying the right parts for the right job. New struts and springs all around will drop you and give you the handling benefit.
