if im stupid tell me to shut up. but i know i can put the turbo and the super in the engine bay. but will it be benifical thats the question..... i know a guy with a mini who wants this setup. he wants the turbo near the cat, feeding into a y pipe before an intercooler. so the s/c and the t/c both meet then they come out the other side as one.. it sounded cool and fast but i dunno. hit me up with shutup's, or ideas on how to make this work. please.....

The supercharger in this setup does not directly help the turbo spin up any faster; it produces the boost until the turbo is capable of taking over. The HKS kit had a special control unit to control SC/Turbo switchover. You should be able to run a lerger sized turbo if you're twincharging and have no lag, but it should still be sized to the application. This is a very expensive proposition, and it will take a lot of fabrication. I hope you have another car to drive while you work on the Celica. |
