I will soon replace my front speakers b/c they're shot and I'm also gonna get a couple subs. My friend will do the installation for me
 . I just wanted to ask for your opinion on what brands are best. Should I change the stock head unit, too? Thanks

Honestly I don't remember, I think the guy I bought the car from told me, either that or it was someone on 6gc. Anyways, I installed the sub with the stock HU and it didn't take away from the quality of the sound at all. My stock front speakers (which I wanted to change because they were blown) don't rattle anymore b/c my bass is turned down now since I got the sub. I'm really happy with the way the system sounds. Maybe it would sound even better with an aftermarket HU, but to me it sounds the same as before (which is good b/c I was really happy with my system). The only thing that changed is that now I have a lot more bass. |
