 Is it worth opening up headlights?, for fake hid lights.. |

The idea of opening up my headlights in an over or with boiling water seems a bit sketchy. Is there a failsafe way to do this? A recipe maybe (water at x degree, headlights for y minutes, etc). The angel eye how to article had that "recipe" to get them open, will this be fine (Boiling water, 20 minutes).
Also, these bulbs just screw right in right? |

dude to put new bulbs in u just pop the assembly out the back of the lights...
