I admit I pirate the majority of my stuff froom eboks, educational films, movies to games console/computer and music mp3s, anime, and tv shows.
But I do still buy a lot of books, and rent a hella lot of movies through netflix, and buy maybe 3 games a year. I don't think theres anything wrong with what I do. Though Im beggining to feel bad especially with computer game developers, I see so many great games that dont get enough commercial success to continue, well i usually buy the game if i like it. I gotta say though 95% of the stuff out there is crap. |

I think its rong to charge so much for things that cost little to no money to make, as dor cd's its cost like .05 cents to make a cd and ther artist does not make money from it so why they charge $20, its bs markup. I dont support that so I download it. as for games, i do download some but if i like it i'll buy it, the trials are such carp you know. for games like HL2 i go out and buy it, the pricees seem resonalbe to me because creating a good game is so hard, the amount of script alone is beyond hard enough but all the time and effor to make it great, $50-$60 sounds fair to me.
i think that if you make over 250k year you have no right to complane about money. NO RIGHT!!!! This post has been edited by creis: Nov 27, 2004 - 12:02 AM -------------------- ![]() |
