i was just wondering what all you could do to make a 5sfe a all motor monster, no head swap,etc.
- i was thinking de stroke her a little 3s rods(hopefullyt rev to 8 grand). - shave the head for a little for more compression. - hard springs 20+ pound (whats stock valve spring pressure?) - some crazy custom cams with huge lift (300+). might require some cutting in the gallery. (does the 5s have a lifter boss?) - custom header. - cai - no cats - some nice custom valve (lighter and harder) - llighten the bottom end - custom IM with downward runners. - bigger TB. - stand alone. - crazy advanced timming. - fueal rails. - bigger injectory - msd coil. (is the 5s single or dual coil ignition) dont get the impression id build this if i ever own another 5s itll be turbo, but i probably will not own another. the head design is exactly what holds back the 5sfe engine
part of making it an all motor monster would have to be a head swap, porting can only do so much until the basic head deign becomes the limiting factor -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
