How do you guys take the shifter apart to install the TWM shifter? I managed to get the pin with the spring and washer(with the six little cuts in the middle of it) off, but I can't figure out how the other one comes out.

Does anyone have a copy of the TWM shifter installation instructions or anything that they could scan/take a picture of for me?

I'm hoping to figure out the cheap D.I.Y. short shifter thing this weekend since I'm done with finals and I'll have some time. smile.gif

umm i actually just forced that one out, i hit it in the direction that you take out the other one (with the springs and whatnot) with a long umm.. ahh geez cant rember it, its like a screwdriver but with a flat tip, for hammering stuff.. lol.. and i just tapped it until it moved in a little, and then hammered it out. the same goes for putting it back in (hammer) i found that this pin was really tight and this was the only way that i could get it out. was this the case with anyone else's?
