Hi All,
Hoping someone can give me some help installing a TWM short-shifter. I'm from the UK and the UK Gen6's stock shifter is slightly different from the US model. Basically (this should hopefully make sense!) the small plastic cups that attach to the bottom and side of the shift arm are slightly smaller in the US than in the UK - basically, because the TWM shifter is designed for the US market I can't fit it without some US spec plastic cups! TWM have tried Toyota but with no luck so I decided to try you guys! Hopefully someone who has installed a TRD shifter will have the old one in the garage and wouldn't mind selling me some spares! Thanx! |

how did your searching? i made my own plastic cups, out of a thick chopping board. the hole is actually pretty good, it fits really well (takes a more than average amount of effort to pop it in), just need to sand it round and made the grooves to hold it in place.
