well...the past couple of days, i've noticed some vibrations, mostly on starting the car..and very hard thuds when shifting semi-roughly... so i finally got around to checking out what i thought was the problem, and it was much worse than i suspected...
Pics: ![]() ![]() if you need to know what that is..that's the rear transmission mount, by the steering rack and firewall, etc. that mount should NOT be disconnected like that..and the tranny casing should NOT be broken like that...incase you didn't know. ![]() i'm going to try to get it welded...but, if that doesn't hold, there's always the option of a 4AGE transmission w/ a new clutch. ![]() -John- -------------------- |

it looks like the front motor mount, not the rear. at least thats were it would be on a 5sfe celica. should be cheap to weld in place.
