After looking at pix of 3sgte swamps most ppl have trouble running the pipe to a fmic cus of where the exhaust manifold is.
I was thinking y not just use two rather long but short incoolers. but one on top of the other and run the piping through one and out the other kinda like a but U. This seems like a simple solution to a problem. Ive never seen this dun so there must be a reason y not. Cost? airflow restiction? basically it would look like this (front vew) |----INTERCOOLER1---(outlet to intake manifold) | |----INTERCOOLER2----(inlet from tubo) | and - are piping |

shid, the 3sgte intake manifold is located right in the center of the motor. on the 5sfe and 7a you have it right on the side. so there is no way to not to run the piping over the hot valve cover.
the biggest issue i had was when the "hot" piping coming off the turbo woud touch the "cold" pipe going to the throttle body and heat it up. i solved this problem by wraping my pipes in exhaust heat wrap. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
