Hey everyone. I don't have a celica but i do have a 1996 toyota carina that has a 7afe. I live in the caribbean and modifying cars is a big thing here but parts arent readily available and i can make my own exhaust manifold for a turbo and i have access to a misubishi td04 turbo from a 3000gt and a stock intercooler from one plus the blow off valve. I can get the turbo setup pretty easily but when it comes to the electronics of it... from the searches i have only read greek to me. Is the MAP based ecu capable of handling 8-10psi of boost and sensing when the boost kicks in and adding more fuel on its own or is it fully neccessary to get a aftermarket ecu like maybe a link... All input would be greatly appreciated.
