I did all of the fiberglassing myself so im a bit proud as it was my first time fiber glassing anyting. I started in morning and finished in the early evening. Here are some of the pix i took through out project. Some are of the left and some are of the right.
I was able to lay down two and in some places three layers down. I used both weaved cloth as well as a thicker weaved mat. I also did some touch up work the today but dont have pix of that. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by urbandork: Dec 16, 2004 - 2:42 AM |

Interesting...if you press on any spots on the enclosure, does it flex? If so, you still need more layers, regardless of how weak your sub is. Subs put lots of pressure into a sealed enclosure.
![]() Also, you did sound deaden the area behind the enclosure before starting this, right? Otherwise you'll probably have some pretty bad rattles. Maybe not though. Let us know how it sounds. ![]() Also, what sub and amp are you using? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
