driving home today, i noticed that my headlights and foglights have no power, but the high beams work. i checked the fuses and i can hear the relay click over. i also did a visual inspection of the bulbs and they seemed ok.
so i did some more testing, it seems to be a grounding issue. i get 12v right at the red wire from the bulb harness, with the mutimeter balck touching a chasis ground poit, but if i just stick the multi meter into the harness plug i get nothing. any ideas? i guess as a last resort, i could just spice in a wire and attach it to the chasis as a ghetto rig, but id like to know why its happeneing in the 1st place. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

do any of you guys know how the ground wires run from the headlights? i have a totyota book, and read the diagram, but id like a visual or a pic .
i reading the diagrams i figured out that the headlight and fogs get ground through the same wire. i disconnected my fog lights and touched the ground wire to my fmic (yet another good use for a fmic ![]() it should have nothing to do with my 3sgte wiring, beacuse the lights for the car are part of the body harness. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
