Has anyone heard Loyal to the Game yet? I've been listening to it for a while and although a lot of fans don't really like it, I think it's pretty decent. I don't like Eminem taking over tracks such as "Black Cotton" and making them sound like they're his songs, but pac's flows are still tight, he can't help what people are doing to the rest of the song. I think the best song on the cd by far is "Uppercut" I've liked it from the first time I heard the cd. Anyone else have any opinions? macavely I know you got somethin to say |

Jeez a lot of you guys are off. Being the pac freak I am, lemme fill you in. After pac was shot, we real scared, so he went int othe studio and just recorded a bunch. Most rappers would put out a song day during recording. He would put out 3.
As far as his target audience, it's very debatable. He does make music for the kids in the ghetto, the kids with a dad, the kids who are around drugs. But almost anyone can relate to him. He been talking about teenage struggles, since "Brenda Got a Baby" and women who play man, "Wonda why they call ya bitch". If you have an issue, he has a song for you to listen to. And if you listen, if you really, his words will make you really think then rewide the song and listen again. And yes, he's dead. -------------------- NASA/SCCA RX-7....currently under the knife

Was he shot more then once? like 2 seperate occations. Its really a shame that more "conscious" rap like this isn't main stream, the state of mainstream rap culture is pretty darn sad right now, just a bunch of materialistic sub intellectual clones, not all of them, but of course the majority. A tribe called Quest, Nas, KRS one, Zac De La Rocha, mos def and many others are great rappers with a mind and something positive to say. Like I mean when a song like "do the roca wear" or what ever gets made you know the inustry has hit rock bottom. |
