Hypothetically, if I or someone like me were to race, from a standstill, in an auto ST, would our best bet be to: a) Leave the car in drive with overdrive off and just mash on the gas b) Start in L, shift up to 2 when nearing redline, then shift up to drive when nearing redline in 2 c) Either of the above with some other techniques added in. Hypothetically, of course ![]() |

Race and auto ST don't generally go in the same sentence. What are you racing?

It's not a set race for money or nething, just when we see each other we go for a spin, it's been pretty even so far. I would almost never put money on my car in a race (at least in its current state). |
