Hypothetically, if I or someone like me were to race, from a standstill, in an auto ST, would our best bet be to:

a) Leave the car in drive with overdrive off and just mash on the gas
b) Start in L, shift up to 2 when nearing redline, then shift up to drive when nearing redline in 2
c) Either of the above with some other techniques added in.

Hypothetically, of course wink.gif

Yeah auto does suck. For launching I just hold the brake rev to 3k and let her go while in D. I don't know anything about OD so I keep it on the whole time.

About your paint. Is that the color of the Nissan Skyline GTR34's? Bayside Blue? Or not?
