I did a search and all of the info that I found was either irrelevant or the pics I needed were out-dated or broken links.
I want to install new speakers in the rear. I am looking into either the 6.5 3-way speakers or 6x9's in the rear dash from Rockford Fosgate. I am doing a complete Rockford Fosgate system with Pioneer deck and so far have the Deck and am getting the sub installed a week from tomorrow. If I buy the 6.5" 3-way speakers will they install easily into the stock mounting place in the panels in the rear or will I have to fab up a bracket for them? And for those like batman with 6"x9" speakers in the rear dash could I see some pics and get some instructions from you as well? Thanks a ton guys. |

So those alpines just screwed into the same place the stock speakers went into or did you have to do some work to get them sit right?

QUOTE(Anub1s @ Jan 2, 2005 - 8:29 PM) So those alpines just screwed into the same place the stock speakers went into or did you have to do some work to get them sit right? I had to put a fender washer on one of the screws because the screw hole wasn't lining up with the speaker- and as such not holding it in very well, causing rattling. The fender washer worked well |
