be very careful with remote start. I learned that the hard way. The 791xv is a badass alarm I am using it right now and I love it. BE CAREFUL for remote start, if it is stardard, you will have to bypass the clutch sensor. Very dangerous work. If you f*ck that up your car wont start. Also you have a clutch sensor for a reason. After about a month of my 791xv remote starting my car it blew out my starter. Which was a bitch to replace in my driveway. If you have an auto then you are ok, but still be careful starting a car without a key is dangerous too... but very fun to see peoples reactions. Like drocay said use cooms sticky, just becareful if you have a standard. Also the 791 takes professionals about 4 hours to install. I think install is well worth the money. But try what you want. Electricals frustrate me too much. I still do all my own work myself but electricals are a b*tch to me. but last thing I will say. Good choice on the viper 791xv. It is a sweet remote. Also how much did you get the alarm for, and how much for install. I paid $300 for the brand new in box alarm and install. Best buy wants $600 and I thought that was too high so I found a bad ass local company to do it for cheap. Anyway, My 2 cents: Bad @ss alarm, b*tch to install, but well worth the time and effort.

Peace,

Matt
