well over here in the states we are quick to say things like thats JDM rice.... so i was wondering if in japan they have a saying for stuff that comes from the U.S. and is used in a tastless manner... is it call USDM wheat ????so somthing else????

i would assume that the Japanese would like the more famous American sports cars made today such as the Viper, Vette, and Mustang. When Millen brought out his GTO to the D1 races, all the Japanese guys were really happy to see it and said in an interview that they would love to see vettes, vipers, and mustangs on the track as well.

From what i hear about Japanese culture from people who have lived there for a while, is that the Japanese are obsessed with American Culture and everything american. I bet this applies to cars as well. Mostly likely more classic iconic cars such as the gt40, stingray vettes, and shelbys.

One more note, ive heard that some Japanese tuners are doing exactly the opposite of what we do here. We try to make our cars look JDM, where they try and make thier cars look USDM. Such as putting the quad lights on an integra. If only there was some sort of parts exchange program...
