the other night something hit my car on the freeway and it knocked a screw off from my bodykit...so i was taking off my front bumper and i decided that as long as i had my bumper off id put the safety bar on....but i soon realized that the bar wasnt going on without cutting a big chunk from my bodykit or from my safety bat...so i decided to cut my bar.... the bar is divided into three pieces and i measured and saw that if i cut of the botom piece it would clear my kit....so i got a circular saw with a metal cutting blade and cu off the bottom peice...and it fit perfect.....well i painted it lack first so you couldnt see it through the grill..
ill put some pictures up as soon as the rain dies down -------------------- Click HERE for more pics of my Celica |

actually rjb, having the bar, ANYTHING connecting the two sides WILL make a BIG diffrence. if you take a real good look at your stock crash bar and see how it needs to be cut...it still has ALOT of structural integtrity afterwards.
will it be as strong as new? no, but a HELLLLLL of alot stronger than having none. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
