I think everyone needs to lighten up. We're all letting dumb things get to us, i.e. politics.

So join me fellow 6gc'ers and lighten up. Where's my Off Topic buddies (Amy, Nat?)

You can be "lightened" up and still talk politics its just the people who cant handle opposing thoughts and views that get their panties in a twist.

Only if there is a general consensus that your end objective is similiar, as in "do the best thing for the country"

Most cases people dont realize this framework and thus discussion are non constructive and go nowhere, thats where agruments boil down to meaningless rants and insults, and most of the political post on here are rants (notice the number of uses of F*ck, Dumb, Idiot, Moron, Sh*t and other fun words)

People start naming calling when they cant properly argue a claim. When people are closed minded and unable to see any other way or refuse to see any other way then the argument is really dead in the water. Each side must be willing to think about others ideas and not just dismissing them before they're understood.
