Hey Kwanza,
Doesnt the stock 7afe block only handle 8-10 psi only. So the the sc12 should not be the weak point.

And from what i have heard, the 7afe head design is good for mild boost applications.

First off... the guy is talking about a 7AGE, so the FE head has no meaning here. Second, I didn't say that the S12 supercharger was a weak point. I said it has limits, like most production factory superchargers. Its efficiency after 12 psi is questionable. As for the block, boost limits depends on what parts a person uses and what sort of tuning is done. I never said the 7A block should be limited at certain psi, only that the rods are weak for higher output. The block itself should handle boost so long as the tuning and fuel is right. The main problem with custom turbo set-ups is what I like to call "Boost Greed". Once you're boosted, you always think, "just one more psi is OK, then I'll have (insert horsepower increase) more power and be faster..." That's why people jack things up and go lean and stuff... because they get greedy and do not tune right, set-up the fuel system right, or something along those lines.

And yes, the FE heads do respond pretty well to forced induction. The narrow head design makes for some massive torque.
