It's been a while since I've been on here. (finally sold everything, quit my jobs and moved to the beach in Florida)
I thought it was funny that you thought of a great idea to do a calendar. In fact, I thought it was a good idea in May. Then you used cafepress. Hmm...that sounds familar. Whats this? You marked the calendar up from the base price of $14.99 to $16.99? Is'nt that the same thing you ripped on me about? Of course my markup was to keep the merchandise site paid for, but your merchandise is a free site. (the link below is to the topic in may that I am refering to) I must say shid and coomer, I am a bit dissappointed. CAFEPRESS previous discussion -------------------- |

Tweek, the difference here is that I haven't made a cent off the calendars yet; I'm still in the hole 60 bucks (since I won't get a check for another month) and if anyone returns them after I lower the price, I'll never make that money back.
If you wanted to up the markups on the prices by doing tons of work and getting test prints done and having to pay for that out of your own pocket- none of us; me, coomer, anyone here would have been against that; just like that haven't spoken out against me. However you marked them up without that, you marked them up to pay for the premium site options- which at the time not only was your site not a premium site (and as such you had almost 3 dollar markup on things that needn't have it) but we didn't need a premium site. THATS why we ripped at you. You've posted a link to your old thread, but you haven't read it yet. |
