I have a friend with a 5.0 and its decently fast, ran a 14.3 and I was right with him in my car. A stock celica cant keep up with a 5.0 whose ever saying that is BS'ing.

QUOTE(Supersprynt @ Jan 18, 2005 - 9:52 PM) I have a friend with a 5.0 and its decently fast, ran a 14.3 and I was right with him in my car. A stock celica cant keep up with a 5.0 whose ever saying that is BS'ing. Christ, I *just* break 14's. In a straight line drag from a roll, this 4.6 V8 next door is very strong. Damn near 300lb/ft of torque. I can lunch it off a standing start (huge traction advantage) and on a real road the 'stang just doesn't see which way I went. But it's not built for that. And I still want that low rev throttle response and noise. -------------------- JDM ST205
Blitz Spec NUR Exhaust, somewhere over $1000 Needing another one 18000 miles later, bloody annoying. |
