I spent some of my birthday Monday trying to cheer up my ex-girlfriend. Her friend was killed in a car accident. Her boy friend was racing some guy in New Orleans. Now his girl friend is dead and he probably will be charged w/ vehicle man-slaugter. He was doing over 100 when he lost control and hit another car. The seat belt broke Stephanie's neck and killed her instantly. She was suppose to start on her high school softball team this year as the lead pitcher. Being stupid and not responsible for her/his actions caused her to lose her life. Kids need to learn that cars arent play things that they are machines and can easily lead to death. If you want to race go to a track/strip and do it there. Dont endanger other peoples lives.
New Orleans Times-Picayune- A 16-year-old Slidell girl was killed late Sunday when the car in which she was riding was struck by another vehicle in eastern New Orleans, police said. Stephanie Subervielle died at Charity Hospital of head and internal injuries, said John Gagliano, chief investigator for the Orleans Parish coroner's office. The accident happened shortly after 10:30 p.m. in the 14000 block of Old Gentilly Road, police said. Subervielle was a passenger in a westbound 1996 Chevrolet Camaro driven by Brenden Mistrot, 17, police said. Mistrot apparently lost control of his car, police said, and it was hit by an eastbound 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo occupied by driver Dino Huy, 17, and a passenger. No information on Mistrot, Huy or Huy's passenger was available Monday. Police have not decided whether charges will be filed against either driver, police spokeswoman Jonette Williams said. Traffic fatality officer Vernell Brown is in charge of the investigation. |

as far as actual normal (reg) drving I think its middle age people who are the worst, both men and women are horrible at it, my commute to tukwila is scary sometimes because of the adults cutting people off, tailgating is the worst, for me especualy because i was rear ended badly by an 50 yr old in my civic so it makes me really nurvous, there to confidant behind the wheel, like me I know I have only been driveing for a few years so I generaly take things easy and stay safe, but there so high on coffie and late for work probilby, that they endanger my life.
not to mention that elderly people dont have to be retested to renew there lisence till they reach 100, how sick is that, people should have to be retested at 60, 65, 70, 75, 76, 77, 78.... or not be able to renew. its funny watching the news, because its like every time there is a crash (of a middle age person) its not a big deal, they just say theres a crash and where etc. or not dont mention it at all. but if its a teenager they make a point to say the age and cover it more, giving us a false idea that teens make up the most car crashes. -------------------- ![]() |
