I need help quickly. What's the best suspension setup someone could buy with money. I'm talking right down to completely not having a stock suspension setup left on my car. Please help quickly, and i'll take anybodies opinion. Please, when you argue, and please do argue, explain why you are arguing, and don't just do it for the heck of it. I appreciate it, lets here it 6GC

In stock form, a front wheel drive car, will always understeer. The only real way to fix that is with a stiffer rear swaybar. As for the suspension travel and handling characteristics, nothing will beat a true coil-over setup.
It really boils down to your budget. If you want a full race suspension, go with one of the Jap coil-over setups. If you want spirited handling and a good road feel, go with an adjustable strut, lowering spring, and swaybar set. It's really up to you. Or, if $$ is no option, go to the dealer and buy the stock components. |
