I know that this is a 6gc tips forum, but my dads honda accord is having some problems.
Everytime the car is going at about 10MPH then I try to accellerate the car stalls a little bit like the engine is choking. I'm think it has something to do with the fuel or the battery. Any inputs would be appreciated. |

My celica runs just fine with the 3 in CAI. I can feel better pick up at 3000+RPM. My dads accord sounds normal, its just some times when I step on the pedal hard it chokes the car for about 1-2 seconds. I normally let off the gas when it happens and step on it softly. I'm taking it to a shop this week to get the fuel filter changed and running some injector cleaner through it. Probably gonna get new spark plugs and possible wires since the car is 93000miles. I'll see how it goes after all the new parts are installed.
Thanks for all the advice. *EDIT* My engine light is flashing so I'm sure its the fuel system. This post has been edited by hs2g: Jan 29, 2005 - 5:54 PM |
