Earlier tonight my dad told me that one of his cousin's wife is selling her 94 Lexus SC300 for a new RX... Before I bought my celi I was looking, and serious with a 93 SC300 that was an auto, but the insurance for a 17 year old for the car was more than astronomical (440 a month for LIABLITY)... Her car is almost identical to the pic except for no front air dam or spoiler, chromed rims, and its the same color... Auto, (damn shame because i HATE them now...) leather (I also hate), but no sunroof or other options... Its in emmaculate condition and its only got 72,XXX miles on it... thats why im stuck... sadly still I know my insurance would be near 375 for the full cov. I have now, but the car is PIMP... what do you all think i should do in this sit? Ohh BTW they are asking $9500 if I bought it, because thats what the dealer offered (it has winter rims too, the stock chromed are mint)...

Its not just the auto/manual swap. Although that car seems to be in good condition and may worth the money for it, you should evaluate your needs. Does it worth it for YOU? extra cost of insurance, more money for fuel, fun level, price. Those are some factors you need to consider. There will always be bargains in the market. If your Celi is in good condition and your are happy with it, i suggest you save the money and use them in a couple of years time when it will be the time for a change.
(I am talking to you as a financial planner now not as a Celi enthusiast)
