The main purpose of this project was space. I had this huge bandpass box that barely fit in the trunk opening. The box is made for two 12's. I have one 12". It took up most of the trunk to where it was pretty much useless. Not to mention the box weigh's a ton. I'm working on an enclosure that sits in the back driver-side corner of the trunk. I'm going to add more layers of glass to it and then finish it. I had to test it out though. The fit is really nice. The natural design of the trunk in that area makes it pop into place and holds it there. I drove around without bolting it down and it didn't move. I'll bolt it down when i finish it. Sounds much better that the ported bandpass box. Here's the progress so far

hey thats pretty cool... cant wait to see the finish product... some people are tryin to get me to try fiberglassing since i build MDF boxes, they say i could probably do it pretty good too.. im told that it isnt all that hard!.... ill give it a shot this summer maybe.... the crappy thing about Bandpass boxes(aside from being crap) is that they hold no sound quality at all.....
