I've been researching this and haven't found a concrete answer..
I just got a 6 puck ACT racing clutch put in my car.. I hear a little whistle/grinding noise when shifting into first and sometimes into second.. I've read some sites that say this is common with racing clutches.. is this true.. or is there something wrong with my clutch setup?.. let me know.. knew to me and didn't start making the noise til i had the clutch installed.. wondering if maybe they screwed up installing into my car -Chris |

no i got a race clutch because i wanted something with more grip than stock was for me.. and the price diff was only 40 bucks.. and the pads etc will last longer than if i got a OEM clutch..
also i'll be ready for incase i wanna get something else besides a 5s... sorry just been attacked soo many times from people who have never tried out a racing clutch.. talking how on a stock engine there is no diff.. but i have noticed a big difference.. i can chirp all the way through third gear.. unlike before with the OEM clutch.. yeah i've read that in hondas this happens too.. and only through the first two gears.. but when the clutch finally grabs in thrid it stop making the noise... fine with me.... just was hoping it wasn't a problem.. -Chris |
