i know i asked this before but i still don't get it. In order to install coilovers you have to grind the struts right? Why? Arn't coilovers made so they fit our cars? It doesn't really matter but isn't there any coilovers out there that you don't have to grind the coilovers?
Whatever. My main question is, on the KYB struts do i shave the circular part that is partly gold in color? or am i way off? I need your guy's knowledge or i can't install them or have anyone install them. HELP ME -------------------- PROJECT 6TH GEN

are you talking about grinding the top of the struts to install ground controls? I did it but honestly its a really easy thing to do. takes about 5 minutes on a grinding wheel. also I don't see how they could avoid doing it, the top sticks out a little bit from factory and the coilover has to be tight around the strut
