My brother in laws brother has a beutiful 4th geneation Honda prelude with some performance mods on it and a h22 vtech with 200hp so on and so forth..... His friends (one with an srt-4 and a volkswagon golf gti) decided it would be cool to race each other, so they go for it. The prelude downshifts and he gives them a blast. He hits 130kms and starts to fishtail. He ends up spinning and eventually hits a sidewalk and starts to flip over. After the flips he slides upside down like 80 ft, his car at this point was damged from top to bottom. He's fine, luckily he was wearing his seatbelt otherwise he would've snapped his neck.... Goes to show you why these kids think they're Micheal Schumacher and its the reason why our insurance is screwing us in the ass continuously like theyre running out of lube......

1. Only race on a strait road.
2. Only race if there are no points were someone could pull out in front of you with you see way ahead of time. 3. Don't race everyone, try to only race people you know and have set up the race first. 4. If you do race someone you don't know, if it's obvious before 60-70mph that one of you will win, back off. 5. Don't race above 80. 6. Don't race when there are other cars on the road. 7. Never race in the rain/snow or on wet road. 8. Don't race when someone is with you. If you kill yourself that’s one thing, but never put someone else’s life in danger. 9. Never ever drag with your girlfriend in the car; you'll have a lot more chance of doing something stupid to show off if she's there. 10. Never race a car without good tires/brakes/and other proper maintenance. Having your engine sees up at 70mph because you forgot to check the oil will screw you over. Lose tie rods, and other failed suspension component could mean your death. Most of all, just try to be as safe as you can and use good judgment when deciding to race. It's not a good idea to race every idiot in a junker car that pulls up next to you and revs his or her engine. Be safe, or keep your butt off the road. EDIT: I ran spell check to make sure this could be understood. This post has been edited by Bigmeanbulldog55: Mar 2, 2005 - 8:17 PM -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy
