As you probably have already figured i am doing a 5sfte. Ive read the how to as well as a bunch of other articles about this stuff. But im still a little confused as to where the coolant and oil lines run to and from.

I looked at the engine bay and kinda have idea but not to sure.

for the oil line the to the turbo id be getting my oil from a 3sgte pan but where would i return it to. Ive heard of ppl dumping into the dip stick? whats the best place to run the return as well as the best size for tubes. (for the size i searched and found the article outlining it but ppl seem to disagree with eachother as to what specific size to run on the to and from lines)

For the coolant lines im a bit confused.

Pix are welcomed as im a more visual person.

thanks in advanced.

allright to get the oil to the turbo do not use the pan cuz it's gonna be dirty oil. take it either from the oil sender with a t fitting it requires a 1/8" bspt thread adapter. I'm going to be running a sperate line from there over to the fender well or something just so that the fitting doesn't snap off becuase a few mr2 guys have had that proble. i spent over 250 bucks on the aeroquip fittings. and for the return line i just took my stock oil pan off by dropping the crossmember and drilling out a 1" hole and putting a -12AN bulkhead fitting on it. and for the oil feed line use a -3AN line if your gonna go the stainless braided way. or you can use an oil filter plate which you than can draw the oil from there. i'm gonna be using the sender option just cuz i have heard of the oil plates leaking. as far as the coolant goes i is easier to retrieve it from the oil cooler. there are two hose right there if you take of the manifold and the heatshield. i'm pretty much finished with my project i just have to get some odds n ends like bolts and ect and waiting for the fuel pump to arrive. i've spent a lot of time on this about 2 years collecting all of the parts and having patience until i get more money. any more questions just holla. ohh btw the turbo's wastegate is gonna hit the oil cooler lines when your try to bolt it up. just heat up the line and bend it with a 2x4 and a hammer just give it a few taps and it will clear it.
