Does pipe from the turbo to the intercooler and finally to the TB affect how much turbo lag. What would be the optimal size pipe for a 5sfte with a ct26 twin entry running about 8 or 9 psi?

I was thinking 2 would 2.5 inch be to big?

also is it better to use alluminum or mild steel? I figure alu cus its lighter, but how does it conduct heat?

Distance has alot to do with lag, but the ct26 is fast spoolin its going to be pretty low no matter what, its not much of a concern with small turbos.
