I just got some dropzone coilovers. I recieved 4 springs, 4 sleeves, the rubber rings, the tops, and 4 perches (the one with the lip). Aren't I supposed to get the other 4 perches?
And, when I installed my coilovers, they raised my car instead of lowering it? (Yes, I am still using my stock shocks, but wouldn't they still lower my car?) WHat did you get for yours? help!!! This is what I got a setup like this. What am I doing wrong? HELP! My car is soooo high and ugly! This post has been edited by Celica_racer112384: Mar 31, 2003 - 10:43 PM |

You have 2 choices. (a) grind the metal ring on your strut and slide the sleeve all the way to the bottom. (b) buy lowering springs. To my knowledge that is just how most cheap coil-over suspensions work. I have the same setup on the back of my car and I also had to grind that metal ring down. The sleeve will sit over the ring so you won't even be able to see where you ground on it.
