Does pipe from the turbo to the intercooler and finally to the TB affect how much turbo lag. What would be the optimal size pipe for a 5sfte with a ct26 twin entry running about 8 or 9 psi?

I was thinking 2 would 2.5 inch be to big?

also is it better to use alluminum or mild steel? I figure alu cus its lighter, but how does it conduct heat?

About path would less 90 degree bends be better or do bends not matter much just so long as its not an s shape (asking the air to turn back on its self)
