QUOTE(Abraxis64 @ Mar 5, 2005 - 3:37 AM) yeah, i'm half japanese, although i'm by no means fluent--i've got the conversational skills of a slow middle schooler and know about as many characters as a japanese 4th-grader--maybe even less. not so hot, but then again, those crazy japanese kids are pretty bright (mandatory 2nd language education in primary school and all that) in any case, i know enough to get by and hopefully enough to help out some people here; finished jpn301 at the university of hawaii, which has a pretty rigorous east asian languages program (as one would imagine), but i've kinda forgotten a lot of it -_-; 聖人 seijin is the equivalent of "saint" or "sage" and, literally, means "holy man" 尊師 sonshi means "holy master" or "guru" in case you want to upgrade yourself don't know what people who understand would think if they saw somebody driving around with this plastered on his car, but that's about as close as i can come up with. peace sweet i'm 100% japanese. japanese is my primary language and have been speaking english for about 12 years. well its cool to see another japanese guy on the site.
