When i first got my 94celi st i decided to push its limits and topped it at 115. Then i put in a custom cold air intake thats almost to the floor biggrin.gif. and my friend had a performance muffler sitting around so i convinced him to let me have it and had it put on wink.gif. after that i ran it again. It ran great. But it wouldnt go over 120mph!!! mad.gif
after it reaches 115 it feels like i'm down shifting. and after it goes down to about 110 and starts to go up to 120 and it starts that down shift feeling again. I checked the revs and its only at 4.5 on 5th gear. Whats wrong with my engine???

By the way i have a stock 7A-FE engine.

it depends also by the tire you've on....for sure if you've 185 you'll go faster than a 215....maybe about 15mph more!

Shouldn't that be the other way around ?, the larger the wheel the more
ground covered on each rotation, speedo undereads and the limiter
kicks in at a point where the car is travelling faster.....

right on the nose

the bigger the wheel the bigger the outside diameter will be on the tire, thus more distance will be traveled per rotation and the speedo will under read the car's speed but not by too much if u go from the stock 14 on ST's to 16's. 17's will be off even more but that will also slow down the car's acceloration and im sure that no one wants that
