It seems like no matter what I do I get tons of rock chips on my front bumper. I never follow dump trucks, pickup trucks or anything that throws off crap. I'll stop if I have to in the middle of the road to get away from them. I think dump trucks should be required to be covered better. One time a rock the size of a quarter hit my windshield and just stuck there luckily it didn't break it. I'm going to touch up my front bumper and a few other spots, but where I just live must be an asteroid zone or something. Any tips on avoiding chips?

I think its a matter of putting plenty of flex additive in the paint and extra layers of clear coat. my paint job is chipping pretty bad too, really wish I had invested in a bra or put some plastic wrap on the front for long trips
