I have a 96 GT and I changed the brakes a week ago. When I got the brakes they were some Autozone Duralast Golds, the part matched up for a 96 w/ ABS, but when I went to change them they were way to small. I haven't seen the non ABS calipers before but I asked for a set for a 95 and they fit. I know my brother who had the car before me didn't change the calipers, but are the 95 non ABS largers pads than the 96 ABS. I know the original owner and he's locked up for a few DUIs so I can't ask him. Can someone post a pic of the 95 pads or something, this is wierding me out?

I don't know, the screen said GT and the box had the right part number. The only thing that is really messing with me is that as long as the lug pattern fits the rotor you could swap brake parts but if the first owner of this car used ST or non ABS calipers that would mean that the master cyclinder won't be up for the task of running bigger calipers and the system is worse than when it started. It would also explain the brakes not slowing the car down fast enough, I almost took out a 7th gen. during a fun run.
