Last night I was at the red light beside a new Honda Pilot. I didnt quite know wheather or not he was going to race me, it was some kid so I figured there would be a chance. Light turns green and he guns it. I drop the clutch, tired chirp and I'm off about .5 second after he guns it. I'm going through the gears, and he is pulling away from me. The gas pedal is on the floor, and yet he still pulls away from me. Can anyone tell me what the hell is going on here?
BTW before you flame, I race SOLO 2 so don't "flame" my driving ability. I'm not the best but I do shift very quickly, I'm taking the car to the track in the summer and I'll let you guys know how fast I do the 1/4 in. Is the 5s-fe really that frigging slow? Or do you guys think the Pilot was modded? I've only got a CAI and I was running 91 pump octane on a full tank when this happened.

[right][snapback]114228[/snapback][/right] umm...no that would be the s2k the pilot has a larger engine...but only makes 162 hp and 160 lb ft whoever said you barely lost to an RSX-s...your friend sucks ass at driving 220 hp and 160 lb ft...and Im not sure on this, but I believe the RSX is as light (if not lighter) than your celica...
