what you may also want to look at is the cooling system.
If possible, get an oil cooler and make sure that your engine cooling system is running efficiently. Expect to to see and increase in engine temp at ruff/sporty driving. Aslo, you will nee some t adapter for vacuum hoses and running the oil from the oil filter to the turbo. If possible, if your Boost controller does not have Fuel control, try looking into an Apexi SAFC. While you are shopping, pick up a good ACT or some other brandname clutch for the added increase torque. Looking into a Oil pressure gauge. Monitor oil pressure during runs until running right out. You may not need to upgrade your fuel system. What you can do is to use an Adjustable Fuel regulator (w/ boost control), check and see if your FP drops in wide open throttle with very light boost to the max boost (which maybe 5-6psi), with your big injectors.. If you notice a drop in fuel pressure to much, you will need a new fuel pump. I hope this helps This post has been edited by west_minist: Apr 12, 2003 - 5:41 PM |
