I just changed me radiatior on my gt and it is much thicker now because it is the radiator with the auto tranny cooler on it. At first i was running prestone 50/50 mix in it and now i am running the Advance auto 50/50 crap and my car is getting much hotter. i noticed this when i ran my car on a dyno and put 150 to the ground when the oil was around 200 degrees and when it got up around 250 it it only put 120 to the ground. I read in the latest import tuner that optimum oil temp is between 200 and 220. I was wondering what all i could do to get the temp down. Does anyone have any suggestions?

150 is possible because I have a dyno sheet to prove it. It was when my oil was still cold and my entake wasnt sucking hot air from off the engine. Me and three other guys saw it.
The fan was blowing on the radiator but once it got hot all it did was loose power. I am trying to find a decent oil cooler and trying to get cooler air to my intake. I am also going to switch to synthetic oil. |
