I have a stock 3rd gen 3sgte from a 96 jdm gt4 in my car and I'm thinking New cams, valves, head gasket, head studs, valve springs, and a port and polish. My car is a daily driver, so i don't want the reliability to got to s***. I also don't know if the power gain would be worth the money.

QUOTE(AndyST4 @ Mar 30, 2005 - 2:43 PM) QUOTE(lagos @ Mar 30, 2005 - 2:33 PM) stock boost on an st205 is between 11.9-16.7psi. so there is no reason you shouldnt be able to run more boost. who did your swap? did u use a gt4 or mr2 clip ? Performance Race Engineering or PRE did my swap I used a 96 jdm gt4, but now im wondering why my boost gauge was only showing 7-8psi. Maybe my boost gauge is ****ed up and I'm running more than I think does your boost gauge sit at 0 with the car off? what vac readings do you get at idle? maby your have a boost leak. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

it does sit at 0 when the cars off, if I do have a leak whats the easiest way to find it. I can't find anything when the cars at an idle. Would having a pretty big fmic drop my boost
