Well, like the title suggests, I might not be on for a long while. I still want to make the Pigeon Forge meet, but maybe not in the Celica.
At this point you're probably thinking I got in a wreck. The Celi is still fine and still running strong. Now to get to the point. I found a 92 MR2 NA for 3500 and am going to see about the money details first thing monday morning. It's a nice shade of blue(not factory), and has been well taken care of with just under 83k on it. If I get it, I will post pics/details ASAP(and then find an MR2 board to hang with while still trying to keep up to date here). Just depends on what my bank says. I only owe 1500 on the Celica, so there shouldn't be a problem getting 5k to pay both off, or if I'm lucky getting 8k to cover the credit card as well. I don't care the % rate, as long as I have 2 of my 3 favorite cars in the driveway. I've been needing a second car anyways to prepare for the 7AFE giving up and being replaced with a 3SGTE(and then fortified with the goodies at the nice place Oreo posted about in Chicago). [edit] forgot to mention, my brother in law is getting a Tiburon V6, which makes my need for a car with better power/weight ratio that much more important. He needs to be taught that a Hyundai is still a Hyundai and not a sports car. [/edit] This post has been edited by aaronc222: Apr 13, 2003 - 6:21 AM |

Yeah, Hyundai V6s are pretty pathetic. 6 cylinders and only 180-190 HP??
But, if you're going to get an MKII MR2, why not do the 3sgte swap in that? It'll be much harder because of where the engine will have to be, but wouldn't it be a much more powerful car than the fwd celica? |
